Utrecht - The historic city

Utrecht is one of the most important cities of the Netherlands. It is estimated to be around 2,000 years old. You can feel the history everywhere in the city. I visited St. Martin's Cathedral. The Dom Tower is tallest church tower in the Netherlands.

Utrecht was similar to Amsterdam with canals criss-crossing the city but it was less crowded and more peaceful. You would certainly enjoy sitting on a chair at a road-side restaurant and watch the boats pass by only a few feet away.
